Carolina Medical Center was where it all began for Tracey and Alan. Prior to that, they both worked at Bank of America. Alan’s roommate thought that the two of them would hit it off and took on the role of matchmaker. After many attempts of inviting Tracey over, Alan was still oblivious to these efforts. Finally, Tracey decided to set up a group date, which turned out to be quite the memorable one, because it ended up at the hospital after she cut her foot with broken glass. Being the gentleman that he is, he stayed with her the evening at the hospital.
Three years later, they began to share a passion for traveling. They took more and more romantic trips with plenty of perfect opportunities for Alan to propose. After a private romantic getaway at whistler and a fancy progressive dinners fit for foodies, Tracey began thinking that he would never ask. Little did she know that he had plans to bring everything back full circle. With the help of her sister who is a nurse, he staged a false appendicitis story to lure her back to the hospital. As she arrived at the hospital worried about his condition, a nurse took a photo of her and told her that it was a new camera and she was testing it out. With her mind completely preoccupied, she overlooked the obvious smiles from the staff and even thought that a rose that was given to her was just preparing her for bad news. In the middle of all the confusion, he came out and proposed!
