It was a beautiful Saturday. Slightly overcast with the sun peeking out of the clouds. It was the perfect kind of day that makes any photographer excited to be shooting outdoors. Meanwhile, inside, the hotel was being dressed in vibrant colors preparing for Amy & Neel to be married.
Amy had contacted us only a couple months in advance because her mother had been diagnosed with cancer, and there wasn’t very much time for her to be with us. Within that short time frame, Amy was able to pull the multitude of details together. And it was breathtaking. But at the end of the day, it wasn’t all pretty details and it wasn’t how gorgeous Amy looked – though they were all beautiful. What really made the wedding was all the beautiful emotions and moments shared between Amy & Neel with their family and their friends.
Time is the most precious thing we have. After all the music fades and the dancing comes to a close, this was what the wedding is really about: Spending time and celebrating with those you love. And those that love you.
Will post the Sangeet next Wed! Multi-day weddings deserve multi-day posts. ;) Last but not least, I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to these vendors that made our job way easier by being amazing at what they do!
