Melinda and Ben’s wedding had classic elegance. I know I heard bits and pieces of the details leading up to the wedding, but when I arrived, I saw that it was the wedding of her dreams. There were so many photos to pick from, but here are a few. They’re heavy on the details. Because not only have I always loved them, but planning a wedding gives you such an appreciation for them. They say that photography is the only thing that you can hold onto from the wedding day, so I like to make sure I capture all of the details, all the decisions big and small made along the process… because they ALL matter.

She was GORGEOUS, and her dress was gorgeous on her. Exactly how I would imagine Cinderella to be.

Here’s some sister love. Melinda and Stephanie on the left. Funny how it worked out to do back to back posts of the two sisters. :)

The guys. I heard they rigged up the tv in the grooms room so they could put the game on (nba playoffs).

I love all the expressions of the day. The anticipation. Then the moment when the bride takes her first steps down the aisle. I live for those moments.

Love how it’s shaped like a bird… or a butterfly.

For the first dance, they started out by doing the high school prom dance just swaying back and forth, but then midway surprised their guests with some choreographed moves.

Venue: Peachtree Christian Church and Georgian Terrace
Wedding Coordinator: Nicole of Peachtree Weddings

Cake: Sweet n’ Sinful
Hair/Make-up: Salon Par Excellense
It was such a pleasure and a huge honor working with Melinda, Ben, and everyone else from the wedding! It was also the first time meeting Nicole of Peachtree Weddings. We originally weren’t planning on having a coordinator, but I was so thoroughly impressed by how she kept the day together, I had to have her for our own wedding!
