It was pure fate that Jin and Don ended up booking us as their photographers. Don was checking out their ceremony venue the same day and same time we happened to be dropping off photos there. Although we missed each other by a couple minutes, by the time Don went back to talk to the coordinator, our photos happened to be there. Soon enough, we found that we had mutual friends, and one of his groomsmen had even been a part of our small group at one point. Such a small world!
We were excited to be a part of their special day. Jin was very sweet and shy. Because of their short engagement with most of it being long distance, they had never kissed before. It was sweet to see that kind of innocence.
Family is huge for most asian weddings. It’s not just about two individuals joining but two families joining. For them, the family was involved with playing cupid, and it was nice seeing everyone so close knit. Hanging out with them, you really saw how much they love and appreciate family.

She was so bashful that at the altar, he gave her a kiss on the forehead instead.

Although where they got ready, the wedding ceremony venue, and the reception venues were all in different parts of town, because of their easy going personalities and because they prioritized their bride and groom portraits, they were the perfect couple that any photographer could ask for. We have an after-session with them coming, and we can’t wait!
