Sorry for the long hiatus in blogging. Even when I make it a goal to blog at least once every other week, it’s been incredibly difficult to keep up while we’re on the road. Earlier this month we were in Peru hiking up to Machu Picchu. We had a week break in Atlanta, then we were back on the road exploring Rome, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lake Como, Lucerne, Zurich, and London. We just got back last week, and I’m still recovering.
I probably should blog chronologically, but I just loooove coastal cities and towns, so it isn’t a surprise that Cinque Terre (translated “five hills”) was my favorite place we visited and the first photos to be edited. If you would like to see more details of individual villages, tips, and more travel photography, you can go to our travel blog.
Here are all five villages of Cinque Terre from north to south:
Monterosso al Mare (it’s a little blurry since I took it from the ferry):

Vernazza (tried some bracketing & HDR for the first time):

Corniglia:

Manarola:

Riomaggiore:

Thank you!
Oh man, these are so pretty… (:
Never been, but I feel like it now :)
Thank you Cheyenne! :) You’ve been before?
These photos are beautiful, you really make this place come alive!
