Two years ago, we spent a week in Fiji for our honeymoon and ended up becoming close to a few other honeymooning couples. One of the couples happened to be childhood friends with FreddieW, and since Jacob and his brother had been dabbling in Youtube, they wanted to introduce us. This was pretty much a turning point for The Fu. FreddieW was really encouraging and gave a lot of insight into the world of YouTube.
As their channel has been growing, it’s been an interesting transition of learning more video work and exploring YouTube as a career opportunity. As you may have noticed through our blog, we have been doing far fewer weddings and engagement shoots this year. We’re not exactly sure what will come of all this, but it’s been an exciting year of change and new opportunities. You can check out thefumusic channel here.
This past month, we’ve been working on a commissioned project for YomYomF called “I’m a Monster” (See it here). Meanwhile, here’s some behind the scenes of what’s to come ~ it’s obviously Halloween themed :)
