We’re Off to Miami!

Jacob and I will both be out of the office from July 10-13th. Thank you for your patience.  We will return any missed calls or emails when we get back! The past few weeks have been a bit hellish.  We’ve been cramming in a lot of editing, along with wedding planning, so that we can plan for Haiti and also for taking some time away for the bachelor/bachelorette party this weekend.  Jacob will be going to the cabins in North Georgia and stirring up some bromance, while I’ll be going to Miami with the girls.  I’m beyond excited to share a weekend with my bridesmaids, three of the most wonderful friends anyone could ask for.

Now I am rummaging through my clothes to find something appropriate and “HOT”.  ha  God forbid we get denied.  Ladies, if you are going on a beach trip for your bachelorette, don’t forget your 100 spf and bandeau tops so you don’t end up with strange tan lines on your wedding day… especially if you’re wearing a strapless like me!  Normally, I would rather be caught dead than wearing a bandeau top, because being the typical asian girl, bandeaus do not help me a whole lot in the boob department.  (Sidenote: i looked up 262 names for boobs, because apparently I know nothing about my boob talk.  Someone this past week had to educate me on what bee stings were.  Am I the only clueless one here?)  Well, until the wedding is behind us, bandeaus it is!

And to embarrass Jacob a little. .. ;)  He left me some post-its, because that’s my love language.  It can’t be just any words of affirmation.  It has to be WRITTEN words.  Who knew I was that particular about love.  He tends to leave me sticky notes whenever we travel to different destinations.  Favorite, most common spot:  the bathroom mirror.

Then one on my travel bag:

And another one inside the travel bag:

:)  It’s certainly not the most easiest or what comes most natural to you, but I’m glad you make the effort to speak my love language.

I know I promised to share my all star vendors list this week (a lot of them are already on my preferred vendors list as well), but knowing I didn’t have time for a proper post, I decided to wait until after the wedding so I can write some raves/reviews on them through not just a vendor-to-vendor perspective but from a bride’s perspective.  If you want tips or recommendations for wedding planning and would like to know who all I’ve decided to use, I’d be more than happy to answer any questions over email (when I return on Monday).  :)

Have a great weekend!
