Looking back at 2010, it was one hell of a year. Just within one year, we met so many wonderful clients and friends, traveled to places I’ve never been before… and I guess I should mention that we got engaged, planned a wedding, and got married! And it was not just any wedding, it was a musical wedding or shall we say a wedding musical. :)
Good times. I’m so glad I have photos to remember them by. I was trying to put together a giant collage of pictures like I’ve been seeing all over facebook, but it was taking more time than I thought to find all the photos. Meanwhile, here’s us from our NYE party.

Instead of doing a year by year resolutions list, a few years ago I put together a 30 before 30 list. They say it’s good to have things down on paper and give yourself proper deadlines. It’s funny how year by year my priorities have shifted and changed though, so I had to modify my old list quite a bit.
- Read a book a month or 12/yr
- Take swing classes
- Put together an ideal 168 hour schedule
- Learn to play all basic chords and strumming on guitar
- Go through Rosetta Stone for French
- Cook all the recipes in the cookbook my girlfriends made for me
- Learn to cook an elaborate 5 course meal
- Read bible cover to cover
- Be someone’s life mentor
- Go to New Zealand/Australia
- Go to South America (that means I will hit every continent!)
- Snowboard on the west coast
- Go on a cross country roadtrip
- Do the 50 states photography challenge
- Complete a 365 (photo a day)
- Publish a photobook on women
- Start a women’s photography group/monthly event
- Be an integral part of a non-profit I’m passionate about
- Give away 50% of all profit to support others
- Dabble in travel photography and get paid to shoot 5 resorts in exotic locations
- Finish Insanity
- Run a 10k
- Hike halfdome
- Learn to play tennis
- Bowl 100 150 200
- Have a wardrobe makeover that makes me excited to get dressed everyday
- Get a masters in taco mac’s brewniversity
- Skydive
- Grow an impressive stockpile like this one
- Grow a herb garden and keep it alive for more than a few months.
1 month and 2 years to go! :) I’m hopeful. Wishing you all a happy new year filled with wonderful memories! What will your 2011 (and for the sake of this post, 2012) be about?
